Desciption
A second edition of the classic handbook has become a standard in the Drosophila field. This edition is expanded to include topics in which classical genetic strategies have been augmented with new molecular tools. Included are such new techniques as homologous recombination, RNAi, new mappingtechniques, and new mosaic marking techniques.
Review
Good book for students, researchers started working on Drosophila and intended to do some fly work. No doubt book is collection of good techniques and their usage but this book is not good for people don't have any knowledge about this system before. This is still a beginners book but just at another level. I will recommend to read some basic concepts and phenomenons from another books or articles [like (Roote and Prokop 2013)] before start reading this.
